Title | Letter to Frank Cowlard from Viscount Mandeville, Kapsirowa [Kenya] |
Description | Glad to hear Mr Whitby has been set up with the shooting. Agrees that minimum number of partridges should be shot. Rising costs will stop the shooting altogether eventually. He has written to Colonel Cooper about the Prince taking guests. Urges Frank to let him know if he has any difficulties or troubles. Description of his farm, the climate and wildlife in Kenya. "The great thing about it is that one is not overrun with regulations and is ones own master. If I want Roast Beef for lunch on Sunday, I kill a bullock and that is all there is to it." |
