On the back is a message to Miss Billie Toller of 23 St.Germans Road in Forest Hill, London, from Bess. In the postcard, Bess tells Billie how she is bored on Duty at the hospital with 16 convalescent patients, that she bought the postcard from M.Barton and names Alec Langley as being in the foreground and that Miss Wheeler is working the kitchen.
