DescriptionPeter Hall discusses the foundation of the village of Conington and it's early history. He details how the ownership of the village changed throughout the ages. He talks about Conington Castle and the Cotton family who built it. The castle was owned by the family for 390 years before passing to the Heathcote's. Peter was friendly with the last owner of the castle which was later sold to the Rochester Bridge Trust.
