TitleAssignment of all estate and interest under the will of Ann Willson, deceased
Description1. Robert Willson of 32 Chichester Place, Grays Inn Road, London, Middlesex, oilman. 2. Frederick Mutton of St Ives, money lender and news vendor. Consideration: £140. Recites will [20 June 1831] and codicils [12 July 1837, 17 January 1845] of Ann Willson of Barton, Cambridgeshire, widow, deceased. Recites that Mary Willson, her daughter, was entitled to a life estate in one undivided fourth part of lands and premises in Elsworth, Cambridgeshire, and that John Willson, Robert Willson, Jonathan Page Willson and William Willson, her [Ann Willson’s] grandsons, were entitled to the remainder in fee of the one fourth part of the said lands and premises after the death of the said Mary Willson. Recites that the three other parties entitled to the lands wished to sell the same by public auction, and therefore the said Mary Willson agreed to sell her life estate in the fourth part provided she was allowed to take the interest on the money arising from the sale for her life, and after her death the same to be equally divided among the four grandsons. Recites that the lands have been sold and the money invested. Recites that the said Robert Willson (1) has agreed with Frederick Mutton (2) for the absolute sale to him of his present and future interest in the said lands. Now this indenture witnesses that 1 has assigned to 2 all his present estate and interest and also all his expectant estate and interest in the said lands and premises. This indenture further witnesses that 1 has assigned to 2 all his share and interest in the sum of money arising from the sale of the said lands. Endorsed, 18 June 1858. Assignment (by endowment) of share and interest under the will of Ann Willson deceased. 1. The said Frederick Mutton. 2. William Willson of St Ives, draper. Consideration: £145. Recites that 2 has agreed with 1 for the absolute purchase of the share and interest of 1 in lands at Elsworth and the money arising from the sale of the said lands. This indenture witnesses that 1 has assigned to 2 his share and interest in the lands at Elsworth and his interest in the money arising from the sale of the said lands.
