Description1. George William Veasey of Lower Shadwell, Middlesex, wharfinger. 2. Charles Veasey and David Veasey of Huntingdon, merchants. 3. William Bonfield and Thomas Bonfield of Whitings Wharf, Ratcliffe, Middlesex, wharfingers.. Consideration: 10 shillings. Recites that 1 and 3 had entered into co-partnership in the business of wharfingers and coal merchants known as ‘Veasey & Co’ and situated at Ratcliffe, Middlesex. Recites that 3 were unable to bring sufficient funds to the business, therefore 2 were to be approached ‘from time to time’ to discount bills of exchange and promissory notes. Recites that the co-partnership has since been dissolved and that 1 assigned to 3 all his interest in the business and that 3 should pay all debts according to the attached schedule. Recites that 2 have agreed to join in these presents for the purpose of indemnifying 3 and the said partnership estate. This indenture witnesses that 1 has granted to 3 all his part share and interest in the said co-partnership with the book and other debts, plus the various debts and sums of money owing to Pate and Veasey amounting to £614 3s 2d.
