TitleAssignment and surrender of a term of 1500 years to merge in the inheritance
Description1. John Martin Leake of Queen Ann Street, City of Westminster, Middlesex, esquire; John Sharpe Palmer of Welbeck Street, Middlesex, esquire; Joseph Alcock of the Treasury Chambers, Whitehall, Middlesex, esquire. 2. Robert Bromsall Lucas of Hemingford Abbots, gentleman. Consideration: £2800 to be lent by 1 to 2. Recites lease and release dated 23/24 July 1801. Recites the inclosure allotted to 2 under the 1806 inclosure of Hemingford Abbots. Recites that 2 has since sold two plots allotted to him and from this sale 2 has since discharged the principal and interest on the mortgage owing to Richard Beaumont junior and others by lease and release dated 1/2 June 1808. Recites that 2 has already paid £1660 to 1. Therefore the sum of £1157 3s is still owed by 2 to 1. This indenture witnesses that in consideration of the sum of £1157 3s paid by 2 to 1, 2 is now discharged from the same. 1 surrenders to 2 all the parcels of land recited in the lease and release of 1801, apart from the two parcels already sold as above.
