Description1. William Asplan the elder of Bluntisham, gentleman. 2. William Asplan the younger of Bluntisham, farmer. 3. James Balfour of Huntingdon, gentleman. Consideration: £400 plus interest from 3 to 1 and 2 to be repaid by the 11 October next ensuing. Properties. Freehold land (13a 3r) in Gull Field and in Berry Fen in Bluntisham, originally conveyed by lease and release dated 28/29 November 1813. Freehold farm house with a parcel of pasture ground adjoining (6a 3r 17p) called the Home Close, in Bluntisham; a new allotment (11a 21p) lying in Hay Field, in Bluntisham, both of which are in the occupation of 2 and were conveyed to him by lease and release dated 6 and 7 August 1820 [4670/1]. This indenture further witnesses that 1 and 2 shall surrender the following to the Manor of Somersham with the Soke. Parcel of inclosed fen or marsh land (9a) in Earith Fen, commonly know as Two Earith Fen Lots to which 1 was admitted as brother and heir of Elizabeth Thong, widow, on 20 October 1837, and who immediately surrendered the same to 2. Also a messuage in Bluntisham known as the Hall House now occupied by 2. Also an orchard (1a 1r) adjoining, to which two properties 1 was admitted tenant at a court held for the Manor of Bluntisham Stockings on 19 May 1815. Also a plot of arable land (4a 1r) lying in Mill Field, Bluntisham; also a plot of arable land (10a 2r) lying in Mill Field, Bluntisham, both plots now occupied by 2, which were allotted to Samuel Knight upon the inclosure of Bluntisham with Earith and Colne, and to which 2 was admitted tenant at a court held for the Manor of Somersham with the Soke on the 7 November 1821 upon the absolute surrender of Samuel Knight.
