Description1. Thomas Bowyer of Buckden, merchant; William Bowyer of Diddington, farmer (executors of the will of William Bowyer late of Diddington, gentleman, deceased). 2. William Islip of St Neots, draper. 3. Robert Warner of St Ives, currier. 4. William Asplan the younger of Bluntisham, farmer. Consideration: £1600 paid by 4 to 1. Recites mortgage dated 11 October 1825 [4670/3]. Recites mortgage dated 3 February 1827 [4670/4]. Recites lease and release dated 9/10 November 1825. Made between 4 and 3 for the sum of £300 upon the lands contained in the previous mortgages. Recites that the said William Bowyer died on 1 July 1837 and his will was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 24 February 1838. Recites that the two principal sums of £1100 and £500 are now owing to 1 as executors of their father's will, and also to 2 (the interest on these sums having already been discharged). Recites that the principal sum of £300 plus interest has long since been discharged to 3, but that no reconveyance of the said premises has ever been made by 3. Recites that 4 has agreed to repay the two said principal sums to 1 and 2 under the said mortgages of 1825 and 1827 [4670/3 and 4]. This indenture witnesses that 1 and 2 have reconveyed the said premises to 4. Properties: as in 4670/3 and 4.
