TitleReconveyance of messuage, land and premises at Bluntisham
Description1. Thomas Seekings late of St Ives, but now of Earith, gentleman. 2. Naomi Feary of Bluntisham, widow. Consideration: £612 19s 9d from 2 to 1. Recites conditional surrender dated 30 October 1849 by which Stephen Feary (now deceased) and 2 his then wife surrendered the following to the Manor of Somersham with the Soake to the use of George Seekings of St Ives, gentleman, subject to redemption on payment of £60. Messuage in Bluntisham with the Home Close (3a 3r) adjoining then in the occupation of Joseph Marshall. Recites an award of enfranchisement dated 20 December 1860 by which the said lands were enfranchised and made freehold subject to the principal sum of £100 plus interest, which payment has now been discharged. Recites that the said George Seekings died 25 June 1875, and that his will, dated 25 June 1872, appointed his nephew the said Thomas Seekings as executor. Recites that the said will was proved in the Peterborough district probate registry 9 July 1875. Now this indenture witnesses that 1 conveys to 2 the above mentioned messuage and premises upon payment of the said sum of £612 19s 9d.
