Recites lease and release dated 5/6 October 1750 upon the marriage of the Reverend Samuel Knight of Trinity College, Cambridge, son of the Reverend Samuel Knight of Bluntisham-cum-Earith, and Elizabeth Partridge relating to a farm and premises in Bluntisham-cum-Earith. Recites that the Reverend Samuel Knight the elder has since died and that his son 1. has contracted with 2. for the absolute purchase of the said farm, premises and lands in Bluntisham-cum-Earith. Properties. Freehold messuage or farm house with a close of pasture (6a 3r 17p) adjoining called the Home Close. New allotment or plot of pasture land (20a) lying in Bluntisham Meadow. A new allotment plot of arable land (11a 0r 21p) lying in Hay Field. All of which said messuage and lands lie in Bluntisham and are in the occupation of 2; the last two plots have lately been allotted and awarded to 1 by the inclosure commissioners for Bluntisham, Earith and Colne.
