8 Prince of Wales’s party at Halifax, Canada, 1860. A group of 10 men, in full military dress and one lady standing in centre. A sentry to rear. The party were at Halifax between 30 July and 1st August. Only Col. Grey; Dr. Achurch; Col. Teasdale; Gen. Hon. R. Bruce; Earl of St. James; Edward Prince of Wales; Duke of Newcastle are named. Viscount Hinchingbrooke not in group. The Lady is [probably] Lady Mulgrave, wife to the Governor of Halifax.
