DescriptionAgreement for transfer of mortgage. 1. William Saberton, Rector of Witcham, Isle of Ely: 2. Edward Tompson esq of Stone Buildings, Lincolns Inn, Middlesex. A note of hand for £704 borrowed by William Saberton from Hugh Robert Evans to pay the fine on the renewal of the lease of the Rectory of Witcham is transferred to Edward Tompson. The present mortgagee of Witcham Rectory, Rev. Henry Smith, to be paid off by Edward Tompson. Saberton will then execute a mortgage to Edward Tompson for the amount which he will have paid to the Rev. H. Smith as well as for the note endorsed by H.R. Evans. Tompson to hold the lease of the property for security for the two debts.
