TitlePulleyn v. English Papers in Case: Covenant
DescriptionWith lawyer's observations and statement of case. Robert Pulleyn, having agreed with Thomas and Henry English for the purchase of their interest in the Manor and lands of Upton, promises to re-convey said lands for an extra £150 above the purchase money to Thomas English or his nominee. Receipt from the Englishes to Pulleyn for £700. and the promise that Pulleyn shall have the rents of the said lands from LadyDay last. Lawyer's comments: The said Manor and lands having been sold last Feb. to L. Wallden, Pulleyn is demanding the rents for a year, ending Michaelmas 1682.
