Description(1) Samuell Moyer, London, Esq. (2) John King, London, Esq., Augustin Hobson, Southwarke, Surrey, glacier, Eusebius Palmer; John Hatterell; Robert Taynton; John Oliver; William Pollicot, London, glacier. Recites demise of 1 Feb. 1638 from Mayor and Burgesses of Newcastle upon Tyne to Sir Robert Mansell, Kt., then Vice-Admiral of England, of the greatest part of the East ballast shoares and the glassehouses and other tenements there, with all apps. except Staithes and staith-roomes for coles and grindstones and houses for staithmen and others to dwell in. For 21 years at 20/- p.a. And which premises by Assignment of 10 Dec. 1652 made by Dame Elizabeth Mansell widow, the relict and executrix of Sir Robt. Mansell, came to (1) Now (1) to (2) Said demise and premises therein, with exceptions there made, and said Assignment. For rest of term. (2) to pay rent and keep covenants in demise.
