Description(1) Samuell Moyer, London, merchant. (2) Ellis Crispe, London, Esq., son and heir app. of Sir Nicholas Crispe of London, Kt. (1) to (2). One part, the whole in 10 parts, to be divided of all those closes, meadow pasture and Marsh now or late of the lands of the Manor of Sayes Court, Deptford Strande als. West Greenwich, Kent, i.e. of one piece of field called Broomefield (57a). Parcel of marsh called Broade Marsh als Mould Meade (43a.3r.20p.), 26a. land abutting Mould Mead East and South. Parcel of pasture called Pott Mead als. Crabtree Mead (36a.25p). 1 parcel of meadow (34a.1r.) abutting on the R. Thames on the north, being part of Great Crane Meadow which adjoins the other part of the said meadow on the east. One other parcel of meadow called Neales Marsh (8a.1r.8p). And the 2 houses called the Doghouse and the Slaughter-house in the town of Upper Deptford with the wharfes and yards belonging. With right to dig, garden etc. Reserved to (1) rest of the Manor and all trees and timber except the nurseries of fruit trees, which may be disposed of by (2). For 99 years at £50 p.a. Power of distraint to (1). (2) to have right of building and improving. Agreed that if new leases are made fen sub-tenants cost shall be at least £3.per p/.a. acre for building land and 50/- per acre at least for residue of ground, except the house already built by John Wood, merchant and all warehouses etc. within a pale fence 200' towards the Thames, i. to let said sub-tenants enjoy new leases free from dower for any wife of his. (2) to do repairs. (1) to have power of inspection. (2) to pay any charges of Commissioners of Sewers. (1) to pay all public taxes. (2) to pay parish taxes, Church and Poor Endorsed: (i) Agreement to John Woode that his lease shall stand and his goods not to be subject to distress. (ii) Certificate of the alteration in the Indenture.
