TitleAssignment of Terms
Description1. Mathew Hill, Devonshire Street, St. George the Martyr, Middx., watchmaker. 2. Richard Hill, Radcliffe Highway, in the same county, brewer. Recites: 1) Lease of 3 June, 1765. 2) Premises mentioned therein now vested in 2. for residue of terms. 3) 1. on 19 Oct. 1765 lent to 2. £400 and for securing repayment thereof 2. assigned to 1. on the same day for the term he had therein certain ground in Lambeth Marsh, Surrey, and also for the term certain other ground in the parish of St. George, Middx., called New Vaux Hall at yearly value of £124 and had also given his bond as a further and collateral security for said payment. 4) Lease of 30 Jan. 1766 by which Martha Ithell, Temple Densley, Herts, spinster, demised to John Rance ground with apps. in Pandors Court, near the lower turning between Shakespears Walk and Spring St., St. Paul's Shadwell, and 2 messuages with apps. there in possession of John Rance for 10 years at £1. p.a. 5) Lands in lease of 4) were on 18 May, 1767 assigned by John Rance to 2. 6) 2. now in absolute possession of the premises. 7) Death of Martha Ithell. Thomas Harwood of Temple Densley, Esq., became entitled to freehold of last-mentioned premises. 8) Lease of 1 Aug. 1769 in which Thomas Harewood demised to 2. last-mentioned premises from 1766 for term of 30 years at £1.5s. p.a. 9) Terms assigned to 1. now determined and there is still owing to him £300, and 2. for securing the same has proposed to assign to 1. the several lands and messuages mentioned in the 3 leases recited, and the goods and chattels in the premises comprised in lease of 3 June, 1765. Now for the £300 due from 2. to 1., 2. to 1., Parcels of ground mentioned in said recited leases with apps. and goods and chattels etc., in the premises comprised in lease of 3 June, 1765. For residue of terms of 17 years and 10 years and further terms of 10 years and 31 years expectant on determination of said terms, and all other terms of years of 2. in or to the same. Usual conditions.
