Description1. The Hon. Robert Villiers, Basset Bury Bucks., Esq; William Cartwright, Annesley Esq; and Jeremy Lewkenor, gent, servant to the said Robt. Villiers. 2. Samuel Moyer, London, Esq. 1. to 2. for £2,030 to Villiers and 5/- to Cartwright and Lewkenor. Manor of Pitsea, als. Pitsey Hall, with apps. in Essex and several parcels of the said Manor within the parish of Pitsey hereafter particularly mentioned, i.e. one messuage or tenement and 2 barnes with apps., Kitchen Field Close; 2 closes called The Meades; Churchfield Close; The Wharfefield Close; The Weekehowse field; Close called The Island; the 2 Marshes, the Eastmarsh and the westmarsh; 3 closes called the Northfields. And all apps. belonging to the said Manor. And all property of 1. in Pitsea and all relevant deeds, except the tythes arising out of the Manor of Chaldon Hall and the lands belonging. Lands clear except for lease to 2. for 2 years. Usual covenants. Endorsed: Enrolled in Chancery 4 July, 1651.
