Sir Robert Cotton, Conington, Kt. and Bart., and Henrie Cotton, Midle Temple, London, gent, bro. to said Sir Robt. 1. to 2. for £340. Messuage in S. Gidding/Abbotts Gidding sometime in the occupation of Thomas Toseland, now of Peter Bradley; Dovehouse Close with apps. which sometime were the inheritance of Richard Button, gent, decd., and which John Bedell, Esq., now Kt., purchased of the co-heirs of Button. Little Spynney with apps in S. Gydding with apps. also late Button's. Arable lands in Steple Gidding specified in the schedules annexed to Indenture of 18th January, 1598. With all apps. to these premises. All right and title of 1. to any of the said premises in Steple Gidding. Peter and Winifride Bradley promise to execute any act necessary for the better assuring of the lands etc. to 2., during the next 7 years. except any bond and covenant, or collateral security, or any further warrantie against Peter Bradley. Enclosed: Bond 12 Mar. 1613 1. Peter Bradley, yeoman 2. Robert Cotton, Kt. and Bart. and Henrie Cotton, gent. In £600 to fulfil covenants in deed of even date.
