Circular from Eastern regional office - Anti-gas precautions. Directory of decontamination laundries for clothing. Notes for fire watchers (pink sheet). A copy of these notes was given to all county council staff who undertook fire watching at Gazeley House, Lawrence Court and Walden House and was strictly adhered to. During all the time the scheme operated, there were no incidents, but numerous air raid warnings lasting sometimes from 10.00 pm to 4.00 am or later. List of county control centre staff.
