DescriptionThis bundle includes payments by the Overseers of the Poor, and Assistant Overseer Mr Wilfrid C Gait, for contributions out of the Poor rate towards the county rate and higher education to Edmund Henry Parker, Treasurer to the Guardians of the Poor; for the salary of Assistant Overseer William Campbell; churchwardens of Holy Trinity, St Mary's the Less, Holy Sepulchre church, Botolphs church; court fees to Joseph Potts, Warrant Officer; to the Corporation of Cambridge for expenses incurred in Joint Collection of Poor and General District Rates , Eaden Lilley, W Heffer & Sons, W. Barber & Co., Shaw and Sons, rates reimbursed to the following rate payers: C. Brown of Peas Hill, Mrs Tennant of Queens Rd, Escrs of W. Robinson of Benet St, J. C. Allen of Cintra Terrace, S. Leeland of Coote Warren, Collins of Maids Causeway, Wilson of 35 New Square, G.G. Morlin and J. Reeks.
