Gait, for contributions out of the Poor rate towards the county rate and higher education to Edmund Henry Parker, Treasurer to the Guardians of the Poor; for the salary of Assistant Overseer William Campbell; payment to the town clerk for contributions towards Registration Expenses; churches including All Saints church (upkeep of old church yard), Abbey church (engineers Lister & Branch), St Andrew the Great (Coulson & Lofts builders) St Peters church (William Bell & Sons builders); payment to Corporation of Cambridge for expenses incurred in Joint Collection of Poor and General District Rates including Eaden Lilley, W. Heffer & Sons Ltd., W. Barber Co. (Bridge Street), printers Foister & Jagg Ltd, W.P. Spalding (publisher and stationer), car hire (W. Moss, Hills Rd); court fees to Joseph Potts, Warrant Officer; reimbursement for rates to The Star Brewery, 13 Newmarket Rd (44 Cambridge pubs), Lacon & Co./Albion Brewery, (26 pubs), Hudson's Cambridge and Pampisford Breweries Ltd., Pampisford (11 pubs).
