DescriptionThis bundle includes payments of the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Cambridge Without, for contributions out of the Poor rate towards the Common Fund of the Union and other expenses; to William George Hobbs, Treasurer of the Guardians of the poor of the Chesterton region; for the salary of Assistant Overseer William Campbell; to Corporation of Cambridge for expenses incurred in collection of rates (A.P. Dixon, W. Heffer & Sons, Postage and receipt stamps), for preparation of the registers in the present year for Elections and Registration Act 1915, Foister & Jagg Ltd (printers), to P. H. Elliot for room hire for deposit of rate books, court costs to Joseph Potts, Income tax, receipt of Poor Rate and General District Rates for named individuals, W. Moss (car hire), reimbursement of poor rates to S. Thomas and E.E. Cox.
