DescriptionThis bundle of vouchers includes payments by the Overseers of the Poor, and Assistant Overseer Mr Wilfrid Charles Gait, for contributions out of the Poor rate towards the county rate and higher education to Edmund Henry Parker, Treasurer to the Guardians of the Poor; for the salary of Assistant Overseer William Campbell; expenses of town clerk for the Act for the Registration of Voters; maintenance of churchyards including Abbey church (maintenance), All Saints Church (cutting grass etc.), Holy Trinity (five payments to George Newell) and Church of St Mary the Less; court costs payable to Joseph Potts, Warrant Officer; postage; taxi fares (W. Moss); reimbursements to the following rate payers: No.1 Salisbury Villas, 103 Mawson Rd, 22 Norwich St, "Six Bells", Green St, 9 Sidney St., Condemned Cottages at Cross Keeps Yard, Magdalene St, 14 Regent St, 77-81 Beche Rd, Campbell's Office, Guildhall, Trumpington St.
