DescriptionThis series consists of three overseers minute books, 1848-1900; and two letters sent to the overseer, 1895-1899.

Issues discussed at meetings of the overseers include lists of individuals in the parish excused poor rates, resolutions on defending or abandoning removal orders, decisions on the release of individuals in gaol for non payment of rates; assessing rates on individual properties, resolutions to take action against individuals who abandoned wives and children, investigations into places of settlement within the parish, and nominations for overseers of the poor.
