DescriptionThis series consist of three volumes of vestry minutes from 1838-1895. The minutes concern the nomination and election of overseers of the poor, churchwardens, improvement commissioners, and highway surveyors. Meetings are held to establish highway rates and poor rates once a quarter, examine and agree accounts, discuss the appropriate use of the poor rate and features lists of properties to be inspected to establish the rate to be paid for the year.
