TitleContracts for appointments as rate collectors
DescriptionContracts and bonds for the faithful discharge of the office of rate collector for each of the four improvement rate districts in the borough of Cambridge. There are also some letters of recommendation for the post.

District one comprised the parishes of St Edward, St Giles, St Peter, St Clement, St Mary the Great, St Andrew the Great, St Michael and Holy Sepulchre.

District two comprised the parishes of All Saints, Saint Benedict, Saint Botolph, St Mary the Less, and Holy Trinity.

District three comprised the section of St Andrew the Less situated on the east side of Mill Road.

District four comprised the section of St Andrew the Less situated on the West or New Town side of the Mill Road.
