DescriptionApportionment forms for a claim in respect of an industrial hereditaments were sent to premises identified by the Rating and Valuation officer from the rate books. The claimants completed details of whether the property was a factory or workshop, a mine or a mineral railway, provided their details and whether they were owner or occupier, the address of the business, the nature of the industry, whether the premises were wholly or partially an industrial hereditaments, and whether any portion of the premises are let. This series also contains working papers of the Valuation Committee relating to the compilation of the draft special list in respect of claims submitted for inclusion as industrial hereditaments. This material consists of draft lists, working notes, correspondence and notices of objections.
