DescriptionEach payment or receipt has a voucher number, a description of who the payment is from or to, the nature of the payment, and the amount. At the bottom of each page is a summary total of payments and receipts which is carried forward to the quarterly auditors report. Payments include rates (paving, poor, church, and highway) taxes, and payments for specific works. Receipts include tolls, hire of premises and fines.
