DescriptionResponsibilities of the technical engineering section of the City Surveyors office included highways including public lighting, preliminary site preparation for housing estates, construction and maintenance works for the Cam Conservators, main drainage , Hobson's Conduit, and sewage disposal. The reports within this series reflect the extent of this work, they have not been subdivided by purpose but simply arranged in chronological order by date of publication.
