DescriptionA fund was set up by the Executive Committee, Central Relief Fund, Calcutta to provide relief for citizens of Bengal suffering from a famine in 1874. This series consists of a notice for a public meeting, letters from subscribers and lists of subscribers printed in the paper plus financial material tracking deposits into three fund accounts held with Mortlock, Fosters and London and County banks.
