TitleRobert versus the Corporation regarding a claim for compensation under the workman's compensation act 1906
DescriptionRobert Lowe was injured by a stone toppling over against him whilst labouring in the Corporation stoneyard. A settlement for a lump sum of £40 was reached between. The material consists of correspondence between the town clerk and the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation, copies of the agreement reached in the Cambridge County Court, a statement of particulars completed relating to the nature of his employment and how the accident happened, report of the judge and the order on the application to record agreement.
