DescriptionClerk's correspondence file (now split into three parts) labelled as 'Hobson's Charity', on subjects including tenants of land and land at Cottenham, Rampton, Willingham and Over and responsibilities for paying Over Fen/Drainage Rate and Ouse Drainage Tax, apprenticeships and apprenticeship fund, town and university governors of the charity, donations to other charities, maintenance grants, bankruptcy of a farmer tenant of land in Cottenham (Horace Savidge). Also includes official documents such as Charity Commission orders and indentures of apprenticeship. Correspondence is dated 1923-1928 with a few earlier documents.
