DescriptionA file of correspondence regarding amending the scheme of Hobson's [Workhouse] Charity by changing the number of Governors from fourteen to six, four members representing Cambridge Municipal Corporation and two members of Cambridge University. The amendment to the charity scheme also allowed Town Governors to be appointed for a period of four years rather than annually.
