DescriptionMade in accordance with order of Common Day of 4 August 1609, which ordered that the ancient orders of the Corporation, as reviewed by a committee, were 'to be written and ingrossed in a severall booke'. The is the 'severall' [i.e. separate] book, so that the copy of the common day book at the back, for 29 September 1608-17 September 1611, must indeed be a transcript (in part, for 4 April 1610-17 September 1611, from vol 7 fos 1-21)
