TitleCopy of an appeal by William Towers to Thomas Greene, visitor of Christ's College, against a decision of the master and fellows of that college to turn him out of his fellowship on the grounds that he had been left an estate. The action is described by Towers as 'arbitrary' and 'illegal'. The appeal was successful and Towers went on to become master at Christ's.
