DescriptionBundle of [legal] papers concerning Edward Bliss's claim that Christopher Porter and his men trespassed upon his lands in Hockwold-cum-Wilton whilst working "The Bear" in the Brandon River, trampled down his banks, damaged the railings, and consumed the grass in his wash lands. This case was heard at the Norfolk Assizes in Lent 1807.
