Description | Bundle of legal papers concerning the Commissioners of Sewers for Wisbech's claim that John Chicheley and Nathanial Kinderley have blocked the Wisbech River with a dam, and made a new cut under the west bank to divert the waters. They also claim that the new cut is too narrow, and will cause the lands on either side to flood during the winter months. This case was heard in the Court of Chancery in June 1723.
