TitlePetition of the Inhabitants, Owners and Occupiers of Lands in Several Parishes and Places through which the River Nene Passes
DescriptionThe petitioners report that many of their cattle have died during the last two summers, as a result of the River Nene totally drying up. They ask for water to be let in through Salter's Lode Sluice and Stanground Sluice, to prevent the River Nene from drying up again. Ninety six signatories.
