TitlePetition of the Inhabitants of Ramsey, Bury, Upwood and Raveley, and also the Majority of Owners and Occupiers of Lands near Gull Drain
DescriptionThe petitioners report that Gull Drain is the only drain to carry off upland waters from Ramsey, Bury, Upwood and Raveley. They ask for the doors of the sluice to be replaced, to prevent floodwaters from flowing back up Gull Drain in times of flood and to preserve the navigation to Hard Lode. One hundred and twenty five signatories.
