DescriptionPetition for permission to dam Londoner's Fen Drain, Cock Fen Drain, London Lode and May Lode where they meet the [Counterwash] Drain. They also ask for permission to build a dam across the Old Welney Old River, to prevent the waters of the Old Bedford River from running onto their land. They also ask for a dam to be build across the [Counterwash] Drain, so that Upwell and Welney have two sluices to discharge their waters. Seventeen signatories.
