TitlePetition of Henry South, Agent for the Countess of Lincoln
DescriptionThe petitioner represents that the Counter Drain in Coates Fen and Wisbech Fen and the Sixteen Foot Drain in Whittlesey have been scoured out, before they could obtain an order from the Bedford Level Corporation. The Countess of Lincoln has paid £84:7s:9½d for the work done, and he asks for her to be repaid from the taxes due from her estate. He also asks for Bevill's [Leam] to be scoured out, which he believes will cost about £33. One signatory.
