Description"The petitioners represent that Whittlesey Dyke has recently been dug out by the Bedford Level Corporation and the navigation altered from its old course on the River Nene and [Bevill's Leam]. They ask for Whittlesey Dyke to be stopped up again and for the navigation to be returned to its old course, as [the River Nene and Bevill's Leam] have begun silting up from lack of navigation. Two hundred and sixteen signatories. '
