TitlePetition of William Stafford, of Denver
DescriptionThe petitioner owns 160 acres of lands on the east side of the River Ouse at Denver, which are frequently flooded by soak water from the Twenty Four Foot Drain. He asks for Roxham Drain to be allowed to have its ancient outfall into the River Wissey, or for the waters from Roxham Drain to be confined to the Twenty Four Foot Drain. If this is not possible, he asks for permission to dam the Twenty Four Foot Drain at both ends of his lands and to turn its water into a new drain that he has dug. One signatory.
