DescriptionThe memorialist represents that he was beguiled into purchasing 4,500 acres of Adventurers' land next to the Brandon River by Mr Plaxton, who promised to grant them tax free for two years. He embanked the lands and did much good work, but has now lost everything and asks for the lands to remain tax free in the future. One signatory.
