DescriptionPetition for a dam to be built across Bill Lode at Ramsey Town End and a pair of breast doors to be erected in the River Nene near High Lode, to prevent the upland waters from Abbots Ripton, Kings Ripton, Broughton, Wistow and Bury from flowing back up the River Nene and flooding their lands. They also ask for another dam to be built across Bill Lode near Gull Drain and for another pair of doors to be erected at Ponds Bridge. Eighty eight signatories.
