TitlePetition of the Owners and Occupiers of Lands lying in Fordham, Denver, Downham Market, Wimbotsham and Stow Bardolph
DescriptionPetition for St John's Eau to be scoured, for any obstructions to be removed and for the sluice gate at Stow Bardolph to be rehung, so that upland waters from Stoke Ferry, Wretton, Wereham, West Dereham and Roxham can drain from their lands. They also report that William Stafford has erected a mill at Denver, which drains his lands by throwing the waters into the Twenty Four Foot Drain. They ask for relief, as this only drain that drains their lands. Eleven signatories.
