DescriptionPetition against a proposal [by the inhabitants of Chatteris and Somersham] to remove the sluice at Welches Dam. They represent that this would cause their land in Manea to flood every winter, and argue that Chatteris and Somersham should still be drained by the Old Bedford River. Twenty five signatories.
