DescriptionThe petitioners were employed by Henry Saffery for three months last winter to repair and improve the east and west banks of the River Ouse. They agreed payment of 2s:6d per pole with Henry Saffery, and completed 340 poles in this time. They have received various sums of money for the work, but have still not received the full amount due to them. Seven signatories.
