TitlePetition of William Drury, of Roughton
DescriptionThe petitioner's father owned eleven tenements, with right of commoning in the common pasture of Stow Bardolph, Wimbotsham and Downham. He represents that [St John's Eau] and other drains were cut through the common, and that his interests were damaged to the value of £200. He and his father have not received any compensation for their loss, except a piece of the bank on the east side of [St John's Eau] which was claimed back from him three years ago without any satisfaction. He also represents that the Bedford Level Corporation have dug up 2 acres of his lands for gault, without giving him any satisfaction. One signatory.
