DescriptionThe memorialist hired 'The Ship' at Denver, 'The Three Tuns' at Welney and 'The Chequers' at Purls Bridge in April 1854, believing them to be properly licensed as public houses. He asks for £12:8s:16d in compensation for the cost of relicensing 'The Three Tuns', as the previous tenant had allowed the excise license to expire. One signatory. Also includes two vouchers for costs incurred.
